Warren Buffett's Two Investing Rules For Dividend Investors

We all like things presented in their simplest terms. Headlines like "Two simple steps to lose that unwanted weight" always grabs our attention, even if it is just to smile and say I wish it were true. I enjoy reading inspiring quotes. They often put life's issues in their simplest terms and in doses that are easy to swallow.

15 Dividend Stocks Trading Below Their Calculated Fair Value

Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.
-Warren Buffett

This is one of my all-time favorite Buffett quotes. In ten small words the entire philosophy of value investing is conveyed. The inherent message is that price and value aren't necessarily the same. * 4 Dividend Stocks For The Social Security Blues

"The problem with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money."
- Margaret Thatcher

As it turns out "soon" just may be much sooner than previously expected. To make matters worse, it has been "broke" for some time, but through creative accounting that would land a private-sector CFO in jail, the government has been able to keep the appearance of solvency.

* Warren Buffett Quotes

As mentioned in previous articles, I love inspirational (and other) quotes. I see quotes as a portal to someone’s inner self. They reveal much about the person both good and bad. Read enough of a person’s quotes and you will get to know the person. Let’s spend some time getting to know Warren Buffett through his quotes.

Is Your Portfolio Average?

The people who want to achieve and aspire to be very good in their profession don’t mind the way we do things. It’s not normal to want to be as good as you can be. It’s normal to be average.
– Nick Saban, Head Football Coach, University of Alabama
