8 Stocks Not Missing Their Opportunity To Increase Dividends

In everything we do, we always want to be the best or be associated with the best. You never hear fans yelling, ‘We’re number 2, we’re number 2′, while holding two fingers in the air. The same is true when selecting dividend stocks. One attribute found in the very best dividend stocks is a long history of consecutive dividend increases.

Below are several dividend stocks that did not miss their opportunity increase cash dividends:

American Tower Corp. (AMT) operates as a real estate investment trust, which engages in leasing antenna space on multi-tenant communications sites to different providers. September 16th the company increased its quarterly dividend 3.8% to $0.55 per share. The dividend is payable October 17, 2016 to stockholders of record on September 30, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of September 28, 2016. The yield based on the new payout is 2.0%.

Lexington Realty Trust (LXP) is a real estate investment trust, which invests, owns and manages commercial properties. September 16th the company increased its quarterly dividend 2.9% to $0.175 per share. The dividend is payable October 17, 2016 to stockholders of record on September 30, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of September 28, 2016. The yield based on the new payout is 7.0%.

State Street Corp. (STT) operates as a financial holding company. September 15th the company increased its quarterly dividend 12% to $0.38 per share. The dividend is payable October 17, 2016 to stockholders of record on October 3, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of September 29, 2016. The yield based on the new payout is 2.2%.

Federated National Holding Co. (FNHC) is an insurance holding company that is engaged in insurance underwriting, distribution and claims processing through its subsidiaries. September 14th the company increased its quarterly dividend 33% to $0.08 per share. The dividend is payable December 1, 2016 to stockholders of record on November 1, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of October 28, 2016. The yield based on the new payout is 1.8%.

New Jersey Resources Corp. (NJR) operates as an energy services holding company that provides retail and wholesale energy services. September 13th the company increased its quarterly dividend 6.3% to $0.255 per share. The dividend is payable October 3, 2016 to stockholders of record on September 23, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of September 21, 2016. The yield based on the new payout is 3.1%.

IBERIABANK Corp. (IBKC) operates as a financial holding company for Iberiabank, which engages in the provision of commercial, consumer, mortgage, and private banking products and services, cash management, deposit and annuity products and investment brokerage services. September 13th the company increased its quarterly dividend 5.9% to $0.36 per share. 21st Century Fox, Inc. (FOXA) operates as a global media company, which engages in television broadcasting and film production. September 12th the company increased its semi-annual dividend 20% to $0.18 per share. The dividend is payable October 19, 2016 to stockholders of record on September 14, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of September 12, 2016. The yield based on the new payout is 0.6%.

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (WST) is a medical device manufacturing company. September 12th the company increased its quarterly dividend 8.3% to $0.13 per share. The dividend is payable November 2, 2016 to stockholders of record on October 19, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of October 17, 2016. The yield based on the new payout is 0.7%.
