Here are several companies sharing their holiday spirit by giving their shareholders a gift of increased cash dividends:

Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc. (WASH) operates as the bank holding company for The Washington Trust Company that offers various banking and financial products and services to individuals and businesses. December 19th the company increased its quarterly dividend 18% to $0.13 per share. The dividend is payable on January 15, 2014, to stockholders of record on January 2, 2014. The yield based on the new payout is 3.3%.

STAG Industrial, Inc. (STAG) is a real estate investment trust that is engaged in investment and management of real estate assets. December 19th the company increased its monthly dividend 5% to $0.105 per share. The dividend is payable February 17, 2014, to stockholders of record on January 31, 2014. The yield based on the new payout is 6.4%.

Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (BMY), a biopharmaceutical company, discovers, develops, licenses, manufactures, markets, distributes, and sells biopharmaceutical products that help patients prevail over serious diseases worldwide.
