I want to let you in on a little secret - Most financial articles are not saying what you think they are saying! They are presented in a very well-conceived and structured manner. Everything is planned and carefully worded. I am not saying the articles are incorrect or even intentionally miss-leading. However, an informed reader needs to know what they are reading and why it is presented as it is.

This phenomenon is a direct result of the online internet world that we live in. Although some of the tactics find their roots in the magazine and newspaper business. With that said, here is what you need to know and what you need to do when reading a financial article...
