October 2013 Pocket Change Portfolio Performance

The Pocket Change Portfolio (PCP) was first introduced on September 13, 2008 as a real money dividend income portfolio funded by the "pocket change" earned from my various online endeavors. Each month I report on the portfolio's progress and dividends earned.

Dividends Received

Total dividends received during the month were $901.87, consisting of:

- $23.49 Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP)
- $90.72 Cincinnati Financial Corp. (CINF)
- $195.84 Community Trust Bancorp Inc. (CTBI)
- $74.18 Genuine Parts Company (GPC)
- $57.12 Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW)
- $97.20 Kimberly-Clark Corporation (KMB)
- $68.88 The Coca-Cola Company (KO)
- $49.80 Leggett & Platt, Incorporated (LEG)
- $16.37 Realty Income Corp. (O)
- $99.20 Piedmont Natural Gas Co. Inc. (PNY)
- $107.80 Raytheon Co. (RTN)
- $21.28 Sysco Corporation (SYY)

Annualized Dividend Income

Including new purchases and dividend increases, my annual PCP dividend income is now $11,790.65 at the current dividend rates. This is up $253.37 from last month's $11,537.28 amount. The PCP has never experienced a monthly decline in annualized dividend income.


Portfolio Returns

- Year-to-date: 23.5%
- Life-to-date: 18.9% (annualized)
